Dance with me Toronto was proud to participate in Toronto Open Ballroom Championships 2016. One of your fellow students – Joan Sinclair – was be competing in a Pro-Am International style Ballroom part of the event. It was Joan’s 1st competition! And she did so well!

We were participating in a so called Single Dance competition, doing Waltz, Foxtrot & Quickstep. In this format the dances are judged individually. And then in 3 Dance Championship, where for the same dances participants get combined scores & placement.
What an experience it was for Joan!!! To get hair wigs& make up done by a professional ballroom champion Anna; get into a beautiful ballroom gown; partner up to dance Pro-Am with a former ballroom champion Egor; & get judged by world famous adjudicators, who used to be world ballroom & Latin champions, runners-up & finalists. The event itself is organized by Andra & Maurizio, who are currently runners-up of World Latin Championship. Continue reading

May 7th 2016 Dance With Me Toronto was hosting a Dance Party for the clients, friends & family.
This event was a great success – so far that was our biggest & funnest party ever!
All thanks to the effort of many people who volunteered helping to organize the party & those who helped to do the entertainment at the event.
We had lots of fantastic performances prepared by our students as well as games, mini lessons, jokes & other group fun activities!

Sunday February 7th 2016 students of Dance with me Toronto were participating in Elite Dance Showcase in Toronto. That was a so called Pro-Am showcase where students do presentations with their teachers (Pro-Am stands for Professional + Amateur).
Instructor Egor Belashov had a pleasure to showcase 2 lovely ladies this time: Joan Sinclair was performing the Ballroom Program with elegant Foxtrot & passionate Tango & Sharon Taylor was part of the Latin Program with sensual Rumba & sexy Salsa.
