Mexican cosmetics

Today we will talk about the mass market, and, for example, we will go to the MEGA supermarket. The assortment differs little in other networks.
There are MEGA chain stores all over the country.
I'm skipping what's on sale at home: Loreal, Garnier, Herbal Essences, Nivea, Dove, and others like that. I was interested in everything new or rare.

The Mexican brand By Apple specializes in all kinds of mascara and eyelash bases. These products are produced in different colors and smells.

I was interested in the transparent mascara for the "natural lash bow" (that's what they said).
There is also a green one, what it smells like, they did not answer me, I did not open it.
Brown mascara in Cafe shade is included in the shopping list.

There is an opportunity to purchase the famous mascara that adds volume in an orange case (not to be confused with a waterproof one) from Cover Girl.

In the accessories department, I came across repair brushes and Eco Tools kits.

The Mexican brand of budget cosmetics Jordana.
A wide selection of lipsticks, glosses and eyeliners. Not bad blush and powder (there are many light shades).

A huge selection of OGX brand hair products.
Shampoos by hair type, masks, conditioners, oils, styling and protective products.
There was also the Loreal line, which I hadn't seen at home.

In Mexico, Ponds fans can replenish their beauty supplies. There are also creams for different skin types.

Compact Ponds powders in blue and pink cases are on the right side of the counter.

Ponds kits are also on sale. There are different sets in different stores, some with a cosmetic bag, some with a towel for the face.

Renova Mexican cosmetics are very reminiscent of Seventeen.

Sally Hansen, who disappeared from our Ukrainian shelves, can be found in Mexico.
Varnishes, washes, self-tanning products, manicure tools, therapeutic and firming nail products, cuticle removal gels, face and body depilation creams.

Another Mexican cosmetics brand is Zan Zusi.

Body creams, lotions, and sprays are very popular in Mexico. This is just one of the stands, usually there are 2-3 in stores.

John Frieda hair products and very similar Marc Anthony packaging designs.
I am very glad to have John Frieda, I did not have time to study the range properly in the USA. The brand has about 15 products for blondes only, but there are also lines for brunettes and brown-haired women.
I bought a Marc Anthony sulfate-free shampoo, I really liked it, I'll write a review soon.

Observations and tips.
Unfortunately, Mexican stores have unreasonably expensive sunscreens. All the products that we are used to seeing at home (Nivea, Garnier, Hawaiian Tropic) cost 3-4 times more expensive. And the number of stamps is very limited. If you want to save money, I would recommend buying them at home, especially since they are cheaper in winter. This also applies to products marked "after sunburn", "from sunburn".

I advise you to buy matting wipes at home. I couldn't find them in Mexico.

I do not recommend taking too many decorative cosmetics because of the high humidity in the air. Even the coolest tones on the coolest bases flow very coolly.
I made do with foundation powder, eyeliner, eyebrow gel, a couple of lip glosses, a sample of mascara and remnants of bronzer. All this is just for evening makeup. I advise you to use dry, gel and water-resistant products. Cream and liquid cosmetics will not work.

I would not recommend dragging hair products from home. There is a huge selection of brands in Mexico. The exceptions are therapeutic shampoos and lotions. If you're taking the course, you should bring it with you.

In stores, everything is arranged not by brand, but by purpose. When you are looking for a cream, there will be different brands in the cream department. If you need a scrub of the same brand, go to the scrubs and pilling department. Try Ivibet and enjoy the action.
