Dance with me Toronto is proud to announce participation in Toronto Open Ballroom Championships 2016 – http://www.torontoopen.ca. One of your fellow students – Joan Sinclair – will be competing in a Pro-Am International style Ballroom part of the event. It is Joan’s 1st competition! And she needs your support!
We encourage everybody, who is available Friday, April 15th 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm, come to watch the competition & cheer for Joan!
We will be participating in a so called Single Dance competition, doing Waltz, Foxtrot & Quickstep. In this format they are judged individually. And then in 3 Dance Championships, where for the same dances participants get combined scores & placement.
The tickets are $35 and can be purchased at doors.
We’ve been to this competition before & know that it is a beautiful event! In 2015 one other student of ours – Talia – took part in it. We really enjoyed overall experience and were pleased to see several students of Dance with me Toronto, who took an effort to come to support her & watch some amazing ballroom dancing.
You will enjoy lots of exciting performances, elegant tails and stunning sparkling gowns, and all the Glamour of Ballroom dancing.
